About Hamilton County:
Hamilton County remained a wilderness long after New York State had divided into counties. It was formed from Montgomery County on April 12, 1816 as a provisional county. Around 1840 it became an independent organization with the county seat at Sageville, the present Lake Pleasant.

As of January 31, 2022 the DMV is now open to all, Monday- Friday, 8:30 AM- 3:45 PM. Instructions and forms can be viewed and downloaded at www.dmv.ny.gov/forms

They account for 70% of all deaths in the U.S., which is 1.7 million each year. These diseases also cause major limitations in daily living for almost 1 out of 10 Americans or about 25 million people.
